Phan Ba Tho
He was born in Danang and lives in Saigon. “A faded, empty organism,” he once described himself. After being unemployed for 60 months, 8 days and 4 hours, he’s now working as a lawyer. The author of the samizdats, Chuyển động thẳng đứng [Vertical Movement] (2001) and Đống rác vô tận [Endless Trash Pile] (2004), his poems appear regularly in many print and web journals. He has been translated into English by Linh Dinh and published in Soft Targets, 116 and Bombay Gin.
