Nguyen Thi Am

Nguyễn Thị Ấm (1961) is a fiction writer.
She was born in Hanoi. From 1980 to 1986 she studied law at the University of Bakou in the Soviet Union. She is the author of two collections of short stories, Tiếng sáo ly hương [The Sound of a Flute from Exile] and Mỹ nhân quyên sinh. Translated into French and English, her stories are included in the anthologies Terres des Ephemeres and Night, Again. She has also written a novel and a children's book.
