Le Thi Tham Van

Lê Thị Thấm Vân (born 1961), real name Lê Thị Hoàng Mai, is a fiction writer, poet and memoirist.

She was born in Vietnam, came to the US in 1975, and is living in San Jose, California. Her books include Đôi bờ, short stories (1993), Mùa trăng, novel (1995), Việt Nam ngày tôi trở về, memoir (1996), Yellow light, poetry (1998), Xứ nắng, novel (2000) and Âm vọng, novel (2003), Bóng gẫy của thần tích, novel (2005), with two more books soon to appear, Những người đàn bà đến từ Hỏa Tinh, novel, and Mùi của riêng em, poetry.
