Nguyen Thi Hoang Bac

Nguyễn Thị Hoàng Bắc (1942) is a poet and fiction writer.
She was born in Saigon, taught school in Nha Trang until 1979, before she escaped by boat to Hong Kong in 1985. She arrived in the US that same year and is living in Virginia. He books include Long Lanh Hạt Bụi, short stories (California: Văn Nghệ, 1988), Bên Lở Bên Bồi, short stories (Paris: An Tiêm, 1997) and Kéo Neo Mà Chạy, short stories (California: Văn Mới, 1997).
She is also included in these anthologies: Trăng Đất Khách (Canada: Làng Văn, 1987), Tuyển tập 23 Người Viết Sau 75 (Văn Nghệ, 1988), 20 Năm Văn Học Việt Nam Hải Ngoại (California: Đại Nam, 1995), Khung Trời Bỏ Lại California: Phụ Nữ, 1996) and Tuyển Tập Thơ Văn Hải Ngoại Năm 2000 (Văn Mới, 2000).
